It Is Time To Simplify
Change is inevitable. Technology’s rate of change can be daunting, and even scary to the decision makers

the behemoth of a solution, both in

Well, is it broke? The term my military
buddies would use is FUBAR.

For years, Simsol has worked on the
end-to-end solution. What we have
learned is that there is no longer a
single solution to end-to-end property
claims processing. What this wonderful
explosion of technology has done for our
industry is given it the ability to delegate
the work required to process a property
claim from start to finish.
The old school approach, easily seen
in our competitor’s “total solution,” has
become more of a hindrance to efficiently
processing what is considered a “standard
claim.” All that this paradigm does is offer
the insurance carrier a black box into

unless the insured yells loud enough.
Advances have empowered all involved,
especially the insured, with the ability
to play an important role in the claim
process. As premiums rise, this ability
will become expected. Multiple phone
messages, multiple contacts, unanswered
emails, and other unacceptable tactics will
no longer be tolerated.
Here at Simsol, we understand this new
paradigm and are busy creating the tools
to take full benefit of these advancements.
These tools are no longer complicated
systems usable only by highly trained
individuals. The new set of tools are
meant to be simple, portable, adaptable,
and capable of open communications as
needed to complete the claims process.
We will still offer our field-proven
tools to the professionals tasked to the
complicated or unique types of property
losses. The new toolset is meant for the
“bread and butter” claims that almost
always can be completed quickly with
these small, simple tools working
together as one.
